CPSM Instructor Qualification Workshop

This course has been designed for Certified Professional in Supply Management®  (CPSM®) designation holders who would like to assist others as they prepare for their CPSM exams. This course will cover best practices in the educational and association fields, including ISM's vision for the CPSM, adult learning theory, ADDIE Model, Engaging and motivating learners, updates to exam specifications and candidate courseware. Upon completion, instructors are granted a qualification status demonstrating they have made the commitment of excellence. Eligible instructors must have a current CPSM certification. Instructors will also receive the CPSM 2018 Instructor Courseware to deliver their own workshops. This course is worth 10 CEH's.

This is a two week online course with 3 live webinars. If you are not to attend live they are also available ON-Demand after the live event.

Presenters

Jim Fleming, CPSM, CPSD, is a manager of product development and innovation as well as a senior instructor at the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®). His multifaced role includes leading development of education and training courses, individual and organizational assessments and corresponding capability models for an AI-based solution, instructing classes and more as a dedicated subject matter expert. He is a Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®), a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity™ (CPSD™). Prior to ISM, he spent more than 30 years working for Intel Corporation, primarily in supply chain management roles. He retired from Intel in 2014 and pursued his passion for education by joining ISM.
Fleming received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering technology from Montana State University and several executive education certificates from Columbia University.

Description

This online course will be guided learning consisting of facilitated sessions, micro-learning1 multimedia, module knowledge checks and practical application activities. These sessions will be spread over a series of weeks allowing the participant to manage their own schedule. There will be three live webinars during this Guided Learning.

ISM’s program has the added benefit of providing many best practices, developed by subject matter experts, which can be applier immediately in the participant’s organization.

Terms And Conditions

Guided Learning Transferals: Registrations are transferable without any charge to another ISM Guided Learning Course occurring within 12 months of the original purchase. Transferring registrations to another party are subject to price variance or change based on membership status and an additional $50 fee will be incurred.

Cancellations Guided Learning: Cancellations more than 5 weeks before the date of the course will incur an administrative charge of 50 percent. Cancellation within 5 weeks of the date of the event will be charged the full fee. You must notify ISM in writing of a cancellation.

Tax Deduction: The Internal Revenue Service may permit an income tax deduction to U.S. residents for expenses (including registration fees, travel costs, meals and lodging) incurred in pursuit of continuing professional education. Consult your tax adviser for details.
