Steps for Event Call-for-Presentations

For most ISM conferences we hold a call-for-presentations (CFP) to gather interested speaker submissions for a specific event. The submission process is streamlined through our speaker management system and all proposals are peer and expert reviewed for final selection. These are just a few of the high-level steps in the CFP process.

  • Step 1. Get an Invitation

We continually build our pool of leading experts, professionals and interested thought leaders whom we invite to our call-for-presentation. Sign up below if you are interested in being added to our list.

  • Step 2. Get access to our CFP portal

The invitation includes a link to our CFP portal where you get complete instructions and can fill out your submission. The portal includes details on themes, event tracks and/or types of topics as well as tips and answers to FAQs.

  • Step 3. Complete your submission.

Our speaker management system provides an easy portal for you to complete your submission. You can begin, save, come-back and complete your submission with your own personal account. We want to give you a simple system and the tools you need to send us your best proposal!

  • Step 4. Submission Review

A committee of subject matter experts and thought leaders will review all submissions against a pre-determined list of criteria that relates to the goals and delivery objectives of the event. Please note that you may get contacted during this process for additional details and/or clarifications.

  • Step 5. Accept and Decline Communications

All those who submit will receive either an accept or decline message. Those who are accepted will start to receive additional details, tools and templates to help support and prepare you for the event. Those who are declined are certainly invited to join us at the event and we do encourage you to submit again. Unfortunately, we only have so many spots.
