Common Questions

Where can I find information on my current membership?

Log into your account and navigate to your My Account page. On the right-hand side of the banner with your information, you will see information on your membership. It will include how many days until expiration, your membership type, ISM ID number, and the exact date your membership will expire.

How do I pay an open invoice?

Log into your account and navigate to your My Account page. Under the banner with your information, select “View/Pay Open Orders” under the My Purchases dropdown on your Account page. Payment can also be taken over the phone by calling Member Services at 480-752-6276 option 8 during business hours.

How do I move ISM emails to my Focused Inbox in Microsoft Outlook?

To ensure ISM emails are sent to your Focused Inbox rather than Other, please Go to Other and find your latest Member Monday or ISM email. Right-click the email and select Always Move to Focused, this will ensure that future messages from ISM are delivered to the Focused tab. You can also follow these steps from Microsoft Support.

My company has a SPAM filter.  How do I receive your emails?

If you’re expecting to receive an email from ISM and nothing appears in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders to see if your email provider mistakenly filtered them out of your main inbox. 

If you’re using Microsoft Outlook, follow the steps below to confirm that ISM emails are not being quarantined, or that they’re being sent to your Focused Inbox: 

  • Check your quarantined messages and release any ISM emails from quarantine.  
  • Navigate to the Quarantine section in your Office 365 Security and Compliance Center, then follow these instructions to move any emails back to your inbox. 

How to place ISM emails on your company’s “allow or “whitelist”?

Contact your IT team and follow these instructions: 

  • Provide your IT team with our sending domain: instituteforsupplymanagement.org
  • Provide your IT team with the IP address below that they should include in your organizations “allow” or whitelist.  ISM IP address: 54.174.57.1

ISM will evaluate work experience for candidates unsure if their current or previous positions are considered applicable. The evaluation is optional, and there is a nominal charge. Please email Member Services for more information and request the form.

Where can I find documentation of the Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) completed with Institute for Supply Management?

Log into your account and navigate to your My Account page. Under the banner with your information, select “Transcripts” from the My Account Details dropdown on your Account page. If you would like to save a copy, click Printable View in the upper right and save the document as a PDF from the print screen.

How do I upload my Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) to the website?

Your hours and documents will need to be uploaded at one time during the online application process here. The application will open 120 days prior to the certification expiration. The tracking template for CEHs is located on the Recertification page under Step 2 of the Recertification Process.
