Tanya Penny recently assumed the role of Director of the Center for the Howard University School of Business Excellence in Supply Chain Management (CESCM). Ms. Penny was previously Verizon Communications Senior Vice President, Real Estate responsible for a $2 billion budget and managed 3,000+ staff and contractors. She also served as Chief Procurement Officer, responsible for $35 billion of sourcing and logistics activities. Her organization drove over $4B spend with diverse suppliers. Ms. Penny has leadership experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Operations, and Telecommunications Network Planning. Ms. Penny also provides consulting services via Ampcus, Incorporated, a minority woman-owned global provider of Technology and Business consulting services.
