Tanya Penny recently assumed the role of Director of the Center for the Howard University School of Business Excellence in Supply Chain Management (CESCM).  Ms. Penny also teaches a variety of courses focusing on procurement and sourcing activities, integrating current supply chain challenges into the curriculum with senior-level executive leaders from various industries.  Ms. Penny was previously Verizon Communications Senior Vice President, Real Estate responsible for a $2 billion budget and managed 3,000+ staff and contractors.  She also served as Chief Procurement Officer, responsible for $35 billion of sourcing and logistics activities.  Her organization drove over $4B spend with diverse suppliers.  Ms. Penny has leadership experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Operations, and Telecommunications Network Planning. Ms. Penny also provides consulting services via Ampcus, Incorporated, a minority woman-owned global provider of Technology and Business consulting services.
