About

Tania Santiago is the Vice President of Global Sourcing at Visa based out of Miami, FL where she leads the Global Marketing and Latin America and Caribbean Sourcing teams with a remit of over $1B of managed spend.  Prior to Visa, she worked at Teva and Millicom, where she managed a team responsible for the category strategies within all indirect materials and services purchased by the seven operating countries to deliver on savings and efficiencies targets. In both organizations, she spearheaded the consolidation of its Media and Digital spend to one strategic partner. She also led major efforts in the establishment of an MSP Program for Contingent Labor at Millicom and supporting the restructuring efforts at Teva when all of HR Operations was outsourced.  Prior to these roles, she started her career as a Consultant in the Supply Chain Management practice of IBM Global Business Services and worked in various project accounts supporting clients within Commercial and Government sectors. 

Tania then joined Pfizer Inc. as a Category Manager for Marketing & Sales Services within their Global Procurement group and transitioned within different roles of increasing responsibility within Indirect Procurement.  Tania graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Supply Chain & Information Systems.  She has also completed leadership programs with INCAE and INSEAD universities. She was awarded the R. Gene Richter Scholarship in 2005, and in 2014 was honored as a "30 under 30 Rising Supply Chain Star" by ThomasNet/ISM. She is passionate about supporting and mentoring first generation women going to college and is currently a Mentor in the Becalas program. When not working, Tania likes to volunteer and spend time with her husband and family.
