About

Richard Hollingsworth is VP Corporate Procurement, Sustainability and Global Capability Centres for GSK, a science-led global biopharma company with sales of £30.2bn. GSK prevents and treats disease with vaccines, specialty and general medicines with a purpose to unite science, technology and talented people.


In this role, Richard leads Procurement for GSK’s Corporate spend and operations of £2bn globally across all GSK businesses. In addition, Richard is the global head for Procurement’s capability centres in Poland and India, that support all of Procurement’s Source to Contract activities across the world.  Finally, Richard is responsible for the Sustainability Programme for our supply base supporting GSK’s ambitions for climate and nature. 


Joining GSK in 1998, Richard has held roles of increasing responsibility within Global Procurement across all areas of GSK spend. Previously, Richard spent 4 years as Head of Procurement Strategy and Chief of Staff for the CPO and 4 years as the Head of Procurement for Europe, Middle East and Africa and 2 Years as the Head of Manufacturing Indirect Procurement.


Richard lives in Cambridge with his two children Maisie and Alfie.
