Cambium Carbon is on a mission to build local regenerative supply chains. In this session you will learn the opportunities and challenges associated with making local scalable and actionable strategies to meet your sustainability goals. This session will summarize the catalytic partnership with ISM to launch the Carbon Smart Wood Challenge– a climate impact initiative transforming American supply chains by uniting domestic hardwood producers, companies, and cities to replace emission intensive supply chains. America could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 251 million metric tons CO2e (or 54,082,777 gas cars driven) annually by creating the infrastructure to capture the 46 million tons of wood that falls naturally in US cities each year. This massive opportunity will help generate impactful local jobs and create more resilient communities that are less dependent on vulnerable global supply chains. Together we are building a circular economy for wood reuse, while creating more resilient, transparent, and socially impactful supply chains.
