Ryan’s path into talent started in supply chain, not recruiting. After enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps out of high school, he served four years as a Supply NCO, and then earned his bachelor's degree in supply chain management from Michigan State University. He spent the next five years applying that degree inside global manufacturing operations before moving into specialized staffing and executive search — and in 2015, founded Bluewater Hayes to bring that same supply chain fluency to how companies find their next hire. Today he leads a team serving clients from regional manufacturers to Fortune 100 companies under one standard: Precision Placement.

Michael leads global sourcing, logistics, and supply chain operations across North America, Europe, and Asia. With more than 30 years in supply chain and automotive manufacturing, he brings deep experience in global procurement, supplier development, logistics, and supply chain risk management. He serves on the Board of ISM and is a past President of the ISM Greater Grand Rapids chapter.

Lauren is currently part of a rotational supply chain program with a large regional retailer, serving as a Distribution Center Supervisor. She joined the company as a Logistics Intern in 2025 after two purchasing internships with ADAC, where she supported sourcing and procurement operations. Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Marketing and minoring in Computer Science, and was named a 2025 Richter Scholar.
