Steve Miller, CPSM is the ISM Services PMI chair and a former ISM Board member. Currently Miller is Chief Procurement Officer and Independent Board Advisor with a proven track record of delivering best-in-class performance, innovation, and value. Miller acts a as a senior advisor for Robinhill Senior Advisory Group, former chief commercial officer for DeepLogica AI, and serves on the board of advisors for Focal Point Procurement and The Harrison Group. He has 40 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, IT implementation and operations, and operations management consulting at Disney, P.F. Chang’s, Accenture, and Kearney. His experience includes restructuring and leading global procurement, supply chain, and facility management teams in the restaurant and media industries, assisting technology and social media companies in optimizing their procurement organizational performance, managing outsourced manufacturing and services, automating manufacturing operations.
Miller holds a master's degree in industrial and manufacturing systems engineering and is passionate about leveraging technology, data, and analytics to optimize e-commerce, logistics, sourcing, and procurement execution.
Susan Spence, MBA currently serves as Chair of the ISM Manufacturing Business Survey Committee, overseeing the development and integrity of ISM’s widely followed Manufacturing PMI® Report. She brings deep expertise in procurement and supply chain leadership, with a career spanning executive roles in sourcing and procurement strategy.
Prior to her ISM leadership role, Susan held senior positions at FedEx Services, where she served as Vice President of Sourcing, Procurement & Accounts Payable, driving enterprise-wide initiatives in supplier management, cost optimization, and risk mitigation. Her experience includes leading global teams, implementing strategic sourcing programs, and championing digital transformation in procurement processes.
Susan earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is recognized for her thought leadership in supply chain resilience, supplier diversity, and operational excellence. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has contributed to ISM’s flagship events, including keynote panels and executive forums.
