Institute for Supply Management® Executive Leadership Update

TEMPE, Ariz. (February 2, 2026) – Institute for Supply Management® (ISM) announced that after 13 years of dedicated service Thomas W. Derry will depart the role of Chief Executive Officer. The ISM Board of Directors has appointed Debbie Fogel‑Monnissen to serve as Interim Chief Executive Officer during this transition.

Debbie currently serves as ISM’s Chief Financial Officer and brings with her nine years with ISM, deep institutional knowledge, strong operational experience, and a clear understanding of ISM’s mission and strategy. The Board has full confidence in her leadership.

ISM remains strong and fully focused on serving its members, customers, and partners. The organization’s mission, strategy, programs, and services continue without disruption.
