Additional tips for sharing your press release:

  • If available, coordinate your press release content with the communications team within your organization.
  • Use short paragraphs and plain language.
  • Send the press release to media outlets in the body of an email message.
  • Attach a photo of yourself (professional headshot recommended) when you email the press release to the media. Most outlets prefer photos in high-resolution .jpg format.
  • Once news of your certification appears in the press, share a link to the story through your social networks. Tag ISM in the appropriate social media outlet to include us in the celebration.
