Presenters
Chris Cooley volunteers as the Supplier Diversity Committee Chair for ISM-Chicago. Driven by the desire to build community, he brings over six years of expertise in the Supplier Inclusion field. He has successfully implemented and enhanced tools, procedures, and partnerships to ensure Corporate Members engage with certified diverse and small suppliers, aligning with the company's strategic business needs.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources from Ohio State University and an MBA from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He is also a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), a designation awarded by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). A wartime veteran, Chris served in the United States Army as a water purification specialist.
Shaun Jones, CPSM, CPSD was formerly the Sr. Director of Supplier Inclusion at Mondelez International. Shaun leads initiatives cultivating, developing and supporting equitable opportunities for diverse suppliers and small businesses. He is a procurement & supply chain management professional with over 20 years of experience in procurement strategy, cost reduction, quality improvement and risk mitigation. He has led procurement initiatives in several organizations throughout his career with such companies as Walgreens Boots Alliance, ARYZTA, Newell Rubbermaid and Stepan. Shaun is a Chicagoland native and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University and Masters in Business Administration from Roosevelt University.
Shaun is an active member and currently serving as president for the Institute for Supply Management ISM-Chicago chapter. Which is a non-profit dedicated to strengthening the community of procurement and supply professionals in the Chicagoland area.
