Supply chain disruptions continue to increase in frequency and complexity. This course provides a structured approach to identifying, assessing and managing risk across procurement and supply chain operations.
Participants learn how to evaluate risk probabilities, quantify business impacts, develop mitigation strategies and strengthen compliance programs. Excel-based tools and templates for weighted risk factors, financial impact and probability analysis are provided for use during and after the course.

Luis Jenkins, CSDP, USMC (Ret) is Senior Manager of Supply Chain Sustainability and Risk for the Vistra Corp. family of companies, where he leads supplier governance initiatives aligned with Vistra’s Environmental, Social, and Governance objectives. A retired United States Marine Corps leader with 22 years of active-duty service, Luis brings extensive experience in leadership, risk management, mentoring, and enterprise program development.
After joining Vistra through the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program, Luis developed the business case that established the company’s Supply Chain Sustainability function and later led the design, approval, and launch of Vistra’s enterprise Third-Party Risk Management program. His work has created scalable frameworks for assessing supplier ESG performance, value-chain risk, and third-party risk across the organization.
Under his leadership, Vistra’s supply chain sustainability and risk efforts have earned industry recognition, including the Sustainable Supply Chain Award from the Sustainable Supply Chain Alliance. Luis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Army Sergeants Major Academy, is pursuing his MBA, and maintains the Certified Supplier Diversity Professional designation. He is God-driven, enjoys sports and weightlifting, and values time with his family.
