#ISM2018: Last Blast of Tweets

ISM2018 in Nashville, Tennessee concluded on Wednesday with activity that was limited to the morning, but featured a full day's worth of learning. Attendees acknowledged this on social media, as their tweets with the #ISM2018 hashtag indicated a desire to finish strong.

At an ISM Annual Conference, the closing keynote speaker usually provides actionable information that audience members can take away and immediately use in their organizations. Former Amazon executive John Rossman fit that mold on Wednesday, discussing how to overcome barriers that prevent a company from taking advantage of business trends and being customer-centric.

Attendees and presenters reflected on insights expressed and lessons learned during sessions on Wednesday and throughout the Conference.

Finally, it was time to depart the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, which many attendees agreed was the ideal setting for a productive and picturesque Conference. Among the goodbyes and thank yous:

The supply management profession will reconvene at ISM2019. And after four days near the Grand Ole Opry, attendees can bring their cowboy hats and country music back to next year's Conference location.
