Director at GEP
As a director at GEP, Micah brings over 15 years of experience in the energy and utility industry. He is an expert in strategic sourcing, category management, negotiations, supplier relationship management, data analysis and visualization. Prior to joining GEP, Micah worked at Pacific Gas & Electric, Power Advocate, and General Electric in supply chain and engineering roles. His expertise includes establishing a strategic alliance to replace and repair thousands of miles of gas transmission pipelines. He was directly responsible for procurement activities of thousands of miles of electric transmission and distribution across North America. He also has extensive experience with power generation, including outage work. Micah has experience working on general rate cases, audits, and responding to regulatory inquiries. In addition, he has extensive experience creating financial models for Power Purchase Agreements.
Micah holds an MBA from MIT with a certificate (minor) in entrepreneurship & innovation. He completed his undergraduate education in chemical engineering from Princeton University. He also is a Six Sigma green belt, Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), and inventor of four patents.
